How Much Does a Website Cost in Dubai in 2026?

How Much Does a Website Cost in Dubai in 2026?

A professional website in Dubai in 2026 typically costs AED 2,000 to AED 8,000 from a freelancer, AED 5,000 to AED 20,000 from a studio, and AED 15,000 or more from a large agency. Or you can skip the big upfront bill and pay a monthly fee, from around £99 a month with hosting and maintenance included. Here is what actually drives the number, and what a small business really needs.

What does web design cost in Dubai: freelancer vs studio vs agency?

The same website can be quoted at wildly different prices depending on who builds it. These are the typical ranges I see for a small business site in Dubai:

  • Freelancer: AED 2,000 to AED 8,000. Cheapest, but quality and reliability vary, and you may be on your own once it launches.
  • Studio: AED 5,000 to AED 20,000. A small team handling design, build and launch, with more consistency than a one-person job.
  • Agency: AED 15,000 to AED 60,000 or more. Strategy, project managers and bigger scopes, which suits larger companies more than a local small business.

Higher does not automatically mean better. You are often paying for overheads, not for a website that converts better.

One-off payment or monthly: which is better?

A one-off build gives you a fixed price and, usually, ownership of the files. The catch is that hosting, security, backups and updates are normally extra, and every change becomes another quote.

The monthly model flips that. With my £99 a month plan (roughly AED 480) you get the design, hosting, maintenance, security, backups and small updates in one fee, with no large upfront cost. If you later want to own the files outright, there is a one-off £499 buy-out. If you prefer to own from day one, fixed-price landing pages and full websites start from AED 3,500. You can see both options in the pricing section on the homepage.

What drives the cost of a website?

Five things move the price more than anything else:

  • Number of pages. A one-page site and a twelve-page site are different jobs.
  • Custom design vs template. Truly bespoke design takes far longer than a polished template adapted to your brand.
  • Copy and photography. If you need words written and images produced, that is extra work.
  • Features. Online payments, booking systems, member areas and multilingual Arabic and English versions all add cost.
  • Ongoing care. Hosting, security and updates are a real cost, whether they are bundled in or billed separately.

What does a small business actually need?

Most small Dubai businesses need far less than agencies quote for. A clean, fast, mobile-first site that says who you are, what you do, what it costs, shows proof and makes it easy to get in touch will beat a bloated ten-page site every time. If your main goal is turning ad clicks into enquiries, a focused landing page is often the smarter first purchase. If you want a fuller presence, that is what web design in Dubai from Positively Adam covers.

Hidden costs to watch for

Ask every provider what is not included. Common extras are hosting and domain renewals, SSL certificates, security and backups, content changes, copywriting, SEO setup and a per-edit fee after launch. A cheap headline price can look very different once these are added up over three years.

Key takeaways

  • Typical Dubai prices: freelancer AED 2,000 to 8,000, studio AED 5,000 to 20,000, agency AED 15,000+.
  • Monthly pricing (from £99 a month) removes the big upfront cost and bundles hosting and maintenance.
  • Pages, custom design, copy, features and ongoing care are what drive the price.
  • Most small businesses need one clear, fast, mobile-first site, not an enterprise build.
  • Always ask what is excluded: hosting, updates, security and edits.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost in Dubai?

A small business website in Dubai typically costs AED 2,000 to AED 8,000 from a freelancer, AED 5,000 to AED 20,000 from a studio and AED 15,000 or more from an agency. Monthly options start from around £99 a month, which includes hosting and maintenance.

Is a monthly website cheaper than paying upfront?

Monthly is cheaper to start, because there is no large upfront bill and hosting, security and updates are included. Paying upfront is usually cheaper over three or more years, but you then pay separately for hosting and any changes.

What does a small business actually need on its website?

One clear page or a handful of pages: who you are, what you offer, pricing or a starting point, proof such as reviews or past work, and an easy way to get in touch. Most small Dubai businesses do not need e-commerce, a custom booking system or a large blog on day one.

Why do website quotes in Dubai vary so much?

Quotes vary because of scope, custom design versus templates, number of pages, copywriting, integrations and who is doing the work. Agencies also carry overheads such as account managers and offices, which a freelancer or small studio does not.
