How Much Does Social Media Management Cost in Dubai?

Social Media Management Cost Dubai

It is the first question almost every business owner asks, and the honest answer is: it depends. Social media management in Dubai ranges from a few thousand dirhams a month to well over AED 100,000, and the whole gap comes down to who is doing the work and how much of it. Here is a clear breakdown for 2026 so you know exactly what your money buys.

The short answer

Most small and medium businesses in Dubai spend between AED 4,500 and AED 15,000 per month on social media management. Below that you are usually looking at a freelancer or a very basic service. Above it, you are paying for bigger teams, in-house video production and paid ad management.

Pricing by type of provider

ProviderWhat you getMonthly
Freelancer1-2 platforms, 8-12 postsAED 2,000-6,000
Boutique agencyStrategy, design, 2-3 platformsAED 5,000-15,000
Established agencyDedicated team, video, adsAED 15,000-40,000
Regional / internationalFull-service, large teamsAED 40,000-100,000+

Freelancers (AED 2,000-6,000)

A freelance social media manager is the most affordable route. Expect basic management of one or two platforms, roughly 8 to 12 posts a month, simple caption writing, scheduling and light community management. It works for very early-stage businesses, but you are usually relying on one person juggling several clients, so consistency and design quality can vary.

Boutique agencies (AED 5,000-15,000)

This is where most serious small and medium businesses land. A boutique studio brings proper strategy, custom design, scheduling, community management and monthly reporting across two or three platforms, typically 12 to 20 posts a month. You get agency-level quality without the agency-level overheads, which is the sweet spot for value.

Established and international agencies (AED 15,000+)

Larger agencies add dedicated account managers, professional photo and video shoots, advanced content calendars, paid ad management and detailed analytics. The work is excellent, but you are also paying for their offices, layers of staff and account overhead. For most SMEs it is more than they need.

What actually changes the price

  • Number of platforms. Each extra channel adds design, scheduling and reporting work.
  • Post volume. Three posts a week costs less than seven. More content means more design and copy hours.
  • Custom design vs templates. Bespoke, on-brand graphics cost more than recycled templates, and they look it.
  • Video and Reels. Short-form video takes real production time and lifts the price.
  • Paid ads. Managing ad campaigns is a separate skill and usually a separate fee.
  • Reporting and engagement. Deeper analytics and active community management add hours.

A quick word on ad spend

If you run paid ads, that budget is separate from management. Agencies typically charge either a flat management fee of around AED 2,000-5,000 a month, or 15 to 20 percent of your ad spend, on top of the ad budget itself. Always check whether a quote includes ad spend or not.

So what should you actually pay?

As a rule of thumb, if you are hiring help, budget at least AED 5,000 a month for meaningful work on two platforms. Below that, quality tends to drop below the level that actually moves the needle. The goal is not the cheapest option, it is the one that produces consistent, on-brand content that turns followers into customers.

Key takeaways

  • Freelancers: AED 2,000-6,000. Agencies: AED 5,000-40,000+ depending on scope.
  • Most SMEs get the best value from a boutique studio at AED 5,000-15,000.
  • Price is driven by platforms, post volume, design quality, video and ads.
  • Ad spend is separate from management fees.
