Influencer MarketingHow Much Do Influencers Charge in Dubai in 2026?
Influencers in Dubai charge roughly AED 300 to 2,000 per post at nano level (1,000 to 10,000 followers), AED 1,000 to 8,000 at micro level (10,000 to 50,000 followers), AED 10,000 to 50,000 or more once an account passes 100,000 followers, and AED 75,000 to 250,000 for a genuine regional celebrity. Those are the 2026 numbers I see quoted week to week in the UAE. What follows is what actually sits behind them, and how to spend the budget so it comes back.
The 2026 rate card, tier by tier
Influencer pricing in the UAE is not standardised, but it clusters into predictable bands. These are typical single-post Instagram rates in Dubai in 2026:
- Nano (1k to 10k followers): AED 300 to 2,000 per post. Stories sit at the bottom of that range, Reels at the top. Many will work for product alone.
- Micro (10k to 50k followers): AED 1,000 to 5,000 per post, and AED 1,500 to 8,000 for a properly produced Reel from a strong niche creator.
- Mid-tier and macro (100k+ followers): AED 10,000 to 50,000 or more per collaboration, usually sold as a bundle rather than a single post.
- Celebrity and regional stars: AED 75,000 to 250,000 for one post or an event activation.
The UAE influencer market is now worth over USD 620 million and growing at about 24% a year, which is a large part of why rates have hardened. There is more demand chasing the same pool of credible creators.
Why two influencers with the same following quote wildly different prices
Follower count is the least useful number on the invoice. Four things move a quote far more than reach does.
Engagement rate. A 20,000-follower creator with 6% engagement is worth more than a 90,000-follower account sitting at 1%. Ask for a screenshot of the last 30 days of insights, not a follower screenshot.
Niche. Luxury, beauty, travel and parenting creators command the highest rates in Dubai because their audiences buy. Generic lifestyle accounts sit lowest.
Format. Video costs more than static, always. A Reel involves filming, editing, sound and a hook. A grid post is one photo and a caption.
Usage rights. This is where UAE brands overspend without noticing. If you want to reuse the content in paid ads or on your own channels, that is a separate licence and it can double the fee. Agree the term (30, 60 or 90 days) up front rather than paying twice.
Small creators are quietly outperforming big ones
The engagement gap in the UAE is stark. Micro-influencers here average 4.2 to 7.8% engagement, while mega accounts average 0.6 to 1.2%. Nano creators run higher still, around 8 to 9% against roughly 1.5% for celebrities.
Practically, that means AED 15,000 spent on one macro post is often beaten by AED 15,000 spread across six or seven micro creators posting over the same fortnight. You get more content, more comment threads, more real conversations, and a set of assets you can keep using. You also de-risk the campaign, because one flat post does not sink the whole budget.
Platform matters to the price
Creators in the UAE typically charge 20 to 30% less on TikTok than on Instagram for the same audience size. Instagram is still treated as the premium brand channel in the Gulf, and its rates reflect that rather than any difference in results. If your product suits raw, fast, face-to-camera video, TikTok is usually better value per view. If your product is visual and aspirational, Instagram still earns its premium.
Retainers beat one-off posts
Most Dubai agencies push three or six-month retainers, and they discount 15 to 20% off the per-post rate to get them. Take that deal when the creator is right. A single post from a stranger reads as an advert. The same creator mentioning you across three months reads as a genuine preference, and that is where the sales actually come from.
The legal part nobody budgets for
Since 1 February 2026, anyone publishing promotional content online in the UAE must hold a valid Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council. It applies regardless of follower count and regardless of whether money changed hands, so gifted collaborations are covered too. Visiting creators need a Visitor Advertiser Permit to shoot or post promotional content while in the country.
Brands and agencies can be held liable for engaging unlicensed creators, and fines reach AED 500,000 per violation. Put permit verification into your contract and ask for the permit number before you transfer anything. It takes five minutes and removes the entire risk.
What a sensible first campaign looks like
If you have never run influencer marketing in Dubai, do not start with one expensive name. A realistic first campaign for a small UAE business:
- Budget AED 8,000 to 15,000 across five to eight micro and nano creators.
- Brief them properly: one clear message, one link or offer code per creator, and creative freedom on everything else.
- Buy 60-day usage rights so you can run the best-performing clips as paid ads afterwards.
- Track with unique codes or links per creator, not with vanity impressions.
- Re-book the two who performed and drop the rest.
That last step is the whole game. Influencer marketing works when you treat the first round as paid research and the second round as the actual campaign.
Key takeaways
- Dubai influencer rates in 2026: nano AED 300 to 2,000, micro AED 1,000 to 8,000, 100k+ AED 10,000 to 50,000+, celebrity AED 75,000 to 250,000.
- Engagement rate, niche, video format and usage rights move the price far more than follower count does.
- UAE micro-influencers average 4.2 to 7.8% engagement against 0.6 to 1.2% for mega accounts.
- TikTok rates run 20 to 30% below Instagram for the same reach.
- Three to six-month retainers usually come with a 15 to 20% discount and perform better than one-offs.
- Every UAE creator needs an Advertiser Permit from 1 February 2026, and the brand can be fined too.
The honest summary: influencer marketing in Dubai is not expensive, but it is easy to waste. Most of the money that disappears goes on reach that was never going to buy anything. Spend it on smaller creators whose audiences genuinely trust them, keep the content, and measure with codes.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a micro-influencer cost in Dubai?
A micro-influencer with 10,000 to 50,000 followers typically charges AED 1,000 to 5,000 for a single Instagram post in 2026, rising to around AED 8,000 for a well-produced Reel from a creator in a high-value niche such as luxury, beauty or parenting.
Are TikTok influencers cheaper than Instagram influencers in the UAE?
Yes. UAE creators generally charge 20 to 30% less on TikTok than on Instagram for the same follower count, because Instagram is still seen as the premium brand channel in the Gulf.
Do influencers in the UAE need a licence in 2026?
Yes. Since 1 February 2026, anyone publishing promotional content online in the UAE needs a valid Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council, regardless of follower count or whether they were paid. Brands can be held liable for engaging unlicensed creators, with fines reaching AED 500,000 per violation.
Is it better to pay one big influencer or several small ones?
For most small and mid-sized UAE businesses, several small creators wins. UAE micro-influencers average 4.2 to 7.8% engagement against 0.6 to 1.2% for mega accounts, so the same budget spread across five micro creators normally produces more comments, saves and enquiries than one large post.
